Guest guest Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 Hi Marilyn, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I told her winter squash was too fibrous for *me* but we are all different. I could eat carrots cooked until soft for a long time. I told her winter squash and pumpkin was used a lot in the beginning--I just couldn't tolerate it. One trick for beginners is pureed spinach - first steam it, then puree with some butter or coconut oil and salt and whatever spices you can tolerate at that point.
