A colonoscopy is one of Those Things which no one likes but which can provide useful information. For instance, I am informed that a person with endometrial cancer is at increased risk of colon cancer. Since I'm facing surgery for the endometrial cancer in a couple of weeks, I foresee regular colonoscopies in my future. Other risk factors to colon cancer can include the chronic inflammation of many of the very gut diseases which SCD is so helpful for. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

My recent colonoscopy was my easiest yet - between the pills (rather than the awful drinkI could never stomach) and the fact that real healing had taken place, so it was easier on my system. Guest guest
Yes, I do have BTVC, although it has been a while since I have read it. I guess I am a bit puzzled as to why I have gotten this being on SCD now for 2 yrs. Thanks for the info about a colonoscopy. It will depend greatly as to how well our insurance covers the test as to whether I do it or now. Guest guest
My GP didn't mention pills for it. I will ask the Surgeon when I see him. Guest guest
I have been puzzled by this also. The only thing I can think of is it might be because I have not been taking any pro biotic?
