2 quart Yogourmet overheating

I've seen the posts, but can find it when you need it. I got a

wonderful christmas gift of the 2 quart maker and it worked like a

charm the first time. Now it has been overheating and yogurt is up to

120 - I've cooled the water twice and taken the lid off as well.

What else am I missing - or maybe I just got a dud of a machine.

, I use two of them and they are the same way. Well one is 5 degrees lower then the other. I make sure the water is all the way up on the sides when the container is in ther and half way through I unseal the lid and tip the top one about l/2 up and it works fine then. Katy
