Michele,

Thanks for your comments.

Thanks. I haven't had any rice or rice products since I started on

the diet.

Yes, that's the same for me. Do you have lots of foods to rotate?

I think that I may not be tolerating olive oil right now.

But I did really well with avocado yesterday and it made me

feel better. I need a certain amount of good fat in order to

feel good.

Yeah, I agree that SCD does not need to be plain and boring. I'm

sorry that you rae not tolerating spices and many of the oils. I don't

know yet about spices for me.

That's interesting. I find glass and stainless steel good for me.

I don't have cast iron any more.

Sorry to hear about the D. Yes, eggs are iffy; however, I'm tolerating

them a lot better than I used to.

thanks,

I sometimes use activated charcoal for D, but I rarely have to.

So far, I'm okay this week on the diet.

I used to use epsom salt baths a lot, but I don't have a bathtub

right now. Sometimes I will give myself a foot bath. I also have

infrared lights that I use in the evening to relax me.

It's been interesting to hear of the every three month flares. Of

course, I wonder what I'll go through. :-)

Good idea to start with things you knew were okay for you.

Smiling. I think I understand what you mean regarding being

attracted to certain foods. It's like an addiction. I'm not sure

what you mean about how this contrasts with the psychology

of trying to do SCD.
