Guest guest
A lot of women have specific natural ingredients compounded for hormones. The compounding pharmacies have doctors come in and have these talks sometimes and send out flyers geared towards that females who are post-menopausal. I have two pharmacies nearby that do this. They offer to run tests on you, tell you what you exactly what you need, then send you to a compounding pharmacy where they put it all together in one pill. If you find a doctor advertising he can give you natural hormones, you could call their office and ask for the name of a good compounding pharmacy. I'm sure there's several ways to find them. I went to the pharmacy (big sign inside saying they could add a-z flavor to any liquid medicine) and asked about Pentasa. His idea was to use gelatin caps with only the active ingredient. I did need a script from the doctor just saying 'mesalamine', how often and it's ok to compound. It was a lot cheaper than buying Pentasa also. I'd always heard it was a lot more expensive. Just an idea. I've seen a couple of posts asking how to find the compounding pharmacies. My mom actually told me about one of them because she went to a speech one night on that topic.
