Guest guest
Well, I have had one hell of a day.... It started with the letter from the Social Security office. That made all the sense in the world. What idiots we have working in government positions. Next I had a dental appointment to pull a tooth. Yikes, the roots were curved. It did not hurt then but God forbid it hurts now. I hate dentist almost as much as I hate the governmental idiotioc beauricrats. From there I went back to the internist. The results of the bi-lateral nerve conduction tests. Now let me make it plain that it is my left that is the worst, that it is the one always going numb and tingley. He only ordered the left nerve conduction but after the tech asked questions, she went and asked his PA if it was okay to do bilateral since I was having some right hand problems also and the PA said ok. Well results: I have corpal tunnel......why was I not surprised by that answer. But here is the good part...I have it in the right hand and not the left. So when I told him, " but it is the left that is giving me problems and going numb, " he looked at me and replied, " I don't know what to tell you. " OK....took twelve years of schooling to come up with that great answer..... Then the final insult: He says I need to excercise and loose weight. Another brilliant revalation???? I have know this for 20 years. Although I used to walk track while overweight and could still keep up with my mom who walks several miles every day. The weight may not be healthy but it is not my damned problem. I tell him that I do not have the energy to excercise any more. He tells me to force myself.....Yea right, and then I spend all day tomorrow in bed from it and it only makes it worst. So he replies to that...well, " it's a fine mess you got yourself into! " OMG did I loose it. I did not order this crap, I do not want it and I wish I could give it to him. I was soooooo angry when I left that office. That was the final insult, as if I made myself sick....anyway I go to the Pulmonologist tomorrow at 11 and we shall see what she says... Thanks for listening and just for laughing thru this with me....I needed to vent and I knew you all would understand...BTW, is doing great and so is my dad. Thank you all for asking and for sending prayers his way. He is home and at 100% and no remaining problems except a little with his vision ....but it is NOT bad. Have a wonderful evening....huggs to all Haydee, (Nana to and falling apart at the seams...)
