I was told you can't and that's fine - and me who is still stage 1 and

intro can handle the homemade pecan butter with just chopped pecans or

pecan halves/olive oil

Your right, with pecans you don't need to take off the skins and all I do is whirl it in the food processor, I don't even add oil, but you can if you want to. Katy

Hey Katy,

I was in Bed Bath and Beyond the a little while ago. Kind of fainted

when I saw the cost of food processors. I have a great blender so I

decided against needing yet another appliance. I have something like

this from like a couple of years ago;

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1 & SKU=13485062 & RN=773

DO you think this something I can make pecanbutter with?

I'd try the prices at amazon or costco.

Jodi, I'm not sure that would be adequate. Can you check some yards sales or amazon for a deal on one? You can use it for a variety of things like grating cheese or veggies, making chicken salad. Katy
