When I'm feeding and my dh says something to irriate me, that's just what I do, shoot him, I've actually hit him in the eye before! LOL! But I agree totally with what you said! It's our buisness what we do to feed our children, I think that more people should make comments to bottlefeeding mothers like they comment to us! <3, Robin

Guest guest
, Why do people think they have the right to tell us when, where, and how long to feed our children? Do we go up to people in resturants and say..... " um that beef looks a little fatty I don't think you should eat it. Or ..Well your plate is very big I don't think you should be eating all of that. Or... I don't like what you are having to eat, would you please go and eat that in the restroom. " " You'r hungry well that is just too bad .Oh you have a snack in your pocket. That just won't do. Wait till you get home. " I know all of this sounds strange. It is just as strange for someone to tell us how and with what to feed our children. I am just so sick of it!!!!!! Arrrrr... Guest guest
Shera, That is how I feel. I guess that is why I don't mind the word titty because it has to do with animals and I feel so animalistic sometimes in relationship to my children. They may have stopped breastfeeding on a pre-set " goal date. " They may have been given misinformation by their physicians and cautioned that they should wean (like in order to be prescribed certain meds!). Some moms may have tried their very best, but because of a lack of support by those who say they love her, they gave up breastfeeding. Or they may be a mother who tried her very best to nurse who ended up with one obstacle after another (think of 's sil... with cracked nipples, I'd bet 1000:1 that she'll get antibiotics to *prevent* infection and end up with thrush on top of it all) and in the dark of night decided that breastfeeding just wasn't going to happen for her. Not all bottlefeeding mothers hate breastfeeding. What would make more of an impact than insults and arguments would be to see more mothers happily breastfeeding their babies, contentedly and quietly, in every little nook and cranny around town... to see more mothers practice attachment parenting... and to show the next generation about nurturing and love! Guest guest
, I whole heartedly agree. I have always thought that quiet example is a great way to teach.
