Guest guest
Lack of training and questionable discipline methods have become an increasing problem in our schools and many children are being seriously injured. Please contact this reporter if your child has been a victim of restraint or seclusion. This is one of the issues that will be discussed in depth at the Autism and DD Summit in Orlando. Posted August 15, 2008 I'm working on a story about whether teachers of autistic children get enough training. There are a lot of complaints from parents throughout the state and country on how their children with special needs are treated in classrooms. Many parents claim their children are being unnecessarily restrained or placed in seclusion rooms as a behavior management technique.
