Eileen, if it was bright red it was probably from close by the anus, perhaps its a hemorroid? Katy

Hey Eileen,

Did you feel any pain?

It could be irritation from food.

I get little specs sometimes with new foods due to a little more

straining or harshness. Try not to get too freaked.

uncomfy before and crampy after the bm but that's the norm - nothing

weird other than that little smidge in a line shape - I did introduce

almond flour over a week ago and it caused pain/looser stools but

that had resolved??? well I believe 3 month flare is here so maybe

it's tied to that - just hope I get considerably better after this re-

intro - still going for testing - hubby and i are definately thinking

it's something besides celiac/crohns (new gi too ) so more testing

soon

just want to feel good and stay that way!! i think we're in the same

boat!!!

ps ever hear of freecycle.com? someone may be getting rid of a food

processor - you can get rid of stuff too - it's all free just sign -

up

take care

thanks

eileen almost 3 months scd

Hey Eileen,

I can't remember your diagnosis but if you have UC it may for sure be a

flare, blood is (according to my reading) not as prevalent in CD. Yes

it may be a hemmorhoid. If it keeps up though you should let your doc

know right away as he/she may need to change your meds. I have UC and

prior to the other onset of my other symptoms wrote off the bleeding to

my 'roid.

UC 1/08

SCD 12/07
