1. Can't help on the drug ... sorry!

2. This is probably TAHBSO (total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo

oophorectomy). (By the way, it should be " bimanual " )

3. I found Barlow provocative test and Ortolani test in Stedman's Orthopedic &

Rehab Words. Also, the measurements are written as 34 1/2. Is this a client's

preference? I thought measurements in cm should always be written 34.5cm. I

could be wrong, though. The other thing I noticed were the following typos: (I

didn't know if you copied and pasted or re-typed, but I thought I should bring

it to your attention - just in case) illiac should be iliac; heal should be

heel; and skid should be skin.

Hope this helps!

Jen

Please help!!

Hi all,

Please help on these: This my first account.

Thanks,

Refill on s/l " Dapromyte " 1.25 mg 1PO q. day #90,

refills x 2.

PELVIC: BUS negative, external genitalia atrophic and

dry,

no vaginal discharge (patient status post TH and BSO).

Bimannual no mass,

no tenderness noted.

Is " TH " correct?

Please read this. I have never done one of these

before. I know there are a few errors in it.

MUSKULO/SKELETAL:Patient does have a light vise skin

fold with a 1cm difference in leg length on the right

compared to the left (right is 34 1/2cm for the illiac

crest to the heal, left leg length is 33 1/2cm from

the illiac crest to the heal). Mom states that in the

past, no one has ever checked her height and

has never commented on the skid fold. Patient

apparently had that when she was little. No hip click

noted (normal barlow and ortolan test).

Could the drug be indapamide? I don't know what else the patient has, but this

does come in 1.25 mg.

I'll add:

Musculoskeletal is one word.

Can't figure out your s/l drug, but try looking for an ending with " mide. "

Lots of drugs end in *mide* so you really need something like QLEDB to do a

wildcard search.

Put a space between 1 and cm: 1 cm. There are a couple other places you

need a space between number and cm.

Don't know what a vise skin fold is. Doesn't mean it's not correct though.

I didn't research it. Anyone know offhand? (In another place, you spelled

it as skid fold. :-/ )

" 1PO q. day " should be 1 p.o. q.d. (unless your client wants it this way)

Hang in there. :)

Jenifer,

My first suggestion is to call 211 in Broward and ask for the

special needs coordinator, they keep a pretty comprehensive database of

resources. Have you spoken to the Y, they run aftercare programs at schools

throughout the county, maybe they have some ideas?

Any chance of changing your hours at work?

Subject: PLEASE HELP!!

I am desperate to find a before and aftercare

program for my middle schooler. He is currently registered at Coral Springs

Middle and they don't offer either. I have to be at work in Pembroke Pines at

7:30 and don't get home until 5:00. His school hours are from 9-3. I would LOVE

some advice from other parents who are going through this same situation. I

know I can't be the only one. No one in with Broward County Schools has been

able to provide any type of solution or help. Please please please ANY ideas or

input would be greatly appreciated!!!
