Guest guest
This is to Joe who is suffering with the leg pains. I am new and do not even know how bad I am yet, only know that I do have ACM 1 and that I have MANY, MANY symptoms. My legs and feet are constantly giving me problems. Besides the weakness and unsteadiness, they ache and throb almost non-stop! This is very painful and nothing seems to help much except when my husband rubs ( and rubs & rubs) them. I have little knots all down both legs which my doctor says are trigger points. When my husband rubs directly on one of these spots, I could go through the roof! It is really bad. In addition to all the rubbing, I have to keep mine elevated. Also, my feet and heels are bad areas for me. They also ache and I am no longer able to wear shoes as my feet swell, burn and hurt so bad I can't walk. I have to wear sandals, slippers, or just bare feet. Socks are also a problem and cause my legs and ankles to swell. I have tried soaking which felt ok at the time, but didn't do anything past feeling good. I understand what you are going through and I sympathize with you. Hope you get some relief. Teri (in florida)
Guest guest
This post is to All! I have a couple of questions that I am wondering about. First, does anyone sleep on a waterbed...the free-flow kind? This has been the only bed that I have been able to get a half-way decent night's sleep on....that is when I sleep. I think it might be good cause of the warmth of the water and because the bed conforms to me and whatever position I sleep in. I absolutely cannot sleep on a hard mattress and have not been able to find anything comfortable except the waterbed. I am wondering though, if it could be making my neck pain and facial swelling worse. Just a thought. My next question is : I have a terrible time with what I refer to as " brain-fog " . (I used to refer to it as Fibro-Fog as I was first dx with fibromyalgia) I do the strangest things like put the wrong things in the wrong places and I forget things ALL the time! I will ask the same question 3 times and still not know the right answer. My husband is used to me , but my kids are not finding the situation very funny at all. They are really afraid that I am going crazy or getting Alzheimers. Just wondering about these things. Hope everyone is having a decent day and hope y'all get a good night's sleep. ( This is near impossible for me) Will check back soon, Teri
