Guest guest
To Forti juice is is a ready made fruit juice that has 250 cals per 200 mls.It is designed for people who eat very little so it contains all the vitamins ,minerals etc.Its made by Nutricia in Holland and I get it on prescription here in the UK.They also make Fortisip[milk drink]and lots of different puddings.Christian started them at about a year old and started with 1/2 a carton. He has never had any tummy problems. He has 2 cartons every day so even if he is unwell and off his food he still has at least 500cls joanne Re: Food eaten > From: Al72569@... > > Joanne, > I was wondering what fortijuice is? Guest guest
Joanne, I jsut read your letter to Barbara and I must ask, does your son have the g-tube or do you use periactin? The reason I ask is that once again I am comparing Shelby to your son. Shelby will be 3 on December 10th and weighs 17 pds. Christian is only a 1/2 year older than her but out weighs her by 13 pounds. I don't know if I am the only one, but I am more concerned with Shelby's weight than her height. She is 34 or 35 inches tall.......and judging by her clothes, she is growing up but growing 'OUT' slowly. Have a GREAT day, -----Shelby's mommy ===== ~~~~~~To send a letter is a good way to go somewhere without moving anything but the heart!~~~~~~ Sue __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi I'm curious. Does anyone know if RSS crosss all nationalities? Katy
Guest guest
To As I said on one of my e-mails christians eating was terrible until the age of 2.Until then I'm afraid to say we force fed him.lots of toys, balloons hanging on the ceiling, songs dancing ,T.V. no T.V., hot food ,cold food, lots of tears mostly from me not him[i'm sure most of you can associate with this]He was NG fed twice for a couple of days but no G-tube.Fortunatly he always gained weight[sometimes only an ounce in a couple of weeks]He started eating when he was on GH.It was not over night or anything dramatic but suddenly I realised that he was asking for food nearly all day .He is still not a 'normal ' eater but saying that wiith 4 children I,m not really sure what is normal. As I have said on another e-mail he has gained about 10 1/2 lbs in 19 months of GH .Periactin is not liscenced here in the UK.I,m sure shelbys time will come joanne Re: Food eaten > > > Joanne, > I jsut read your letter to Barbara and I must ask, > does your son have the g-tube or do you use periactin? > The reason I ask is that once again I am comparing > Shelby to your son. Guest guest
Katy, I have heard from RSS families in Australia, Italy, South Africa, Nigeria, Sweden, Denmark, England, Scotland, Egypt, Israel, Spain, Columbia, Argentina, Chile, and I'm sure more than those I remember. I don't think that nationality is a factor, but I could be wrong. Some of the letters have been heartbreaking and I wish I could adopt all of the kids! Jodi Re: Food eaten > > >Hi >I'm curious.
