Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Have you tried permanent coffee filters? I'm thinking of getting one solely for yogurt if the paper filters work out ok. Not sure if the permanent filters will work the same as paper though. Thanks, Kat " IBS " (undiagnosed) SCD since 01/23/2008 http://scdkatfood.blogspot.com/ > > Hi, I use this a lot to drip yogurt. Guest guest
I'm going to start with coffee filters since I have some anyway. I'll have to do small batches but maybe it'll be less messy than the bag. If that seems to not be going so great I'll pick up some cheesecloth to use with a larger strainer. I was hoping the yogurt cheese maker would fit a lot of yogurt, but if it doesn't then I probably won't buy it. As for the food dehydrator. I don't think I can afford it right now. But I'm hoping to get one soon. Especially if I can use my yogourmet jars in it (I plan on buying a couple of glass ones). What size of food dehydrator is best? I want to fit at least 2 Yogourmet jars (2 quarts each). Thanks for all the tips!
