Guest guest
Hey , I didn't really notice improvement in my stool until I added yogurt, which was 2 months in. I simply didn't tolerate it until then. I still rarely have a normal stool maybe once a week, but a definite improvement. Seems a lot depends on how many veggies of any kind I eat, carrots included. Any vegs make me looser. Hope this helps- UC 1/08 SCD 12/

I also read you can only stay on the intro for > five days max? Please give me any advice you have. > > > CD > SCD 4days > I'm new to SCD too and having the same problem as . However, I've been on the diet for 5 weeks!! I've lost 14 pounds which would be great except I was underweight before. I thought perhaps I was eating too much almond flour products as they are SOOO good and I was SOOOO hungry. I cut that out on Saturday and haven't noticed a difference. Perhaps it is too soon to tell. I feel like I'm still on the intro diet except that I eat ripe bananas, cooked apples and cooked carrots and green beans. Still eating the soup. I've had this diarrhea for 2 years with none of the medications working. Guess I was hoping this diet would be my miracle drug. Am I just too impatient?? I have 2 small kids so I don't have the time to go back and read the archives to see others in similar situations. Any encouragement or advice would be great! Thanks. Though you still have D, have you noticed any change(s) in your system (tiny, small or big)? Or is absolutely everything exactly the same? What are you eating? Have you had any symptoms of die-off (though the tiredness may well be a part of that.) Is it possible you are inadvertently using illegals in small ways (spice mixtures, vanilla with sugar, yogurt starter with pectin - just to name a few things that are easy to slip by)? What are your other symptoms? Etc. Mara
