Magic Convention

Hi everyone!

It's 12:25 PM here and I am sitting on the floor typing this message. I'm too

old for this kind of behavior. We just bought a new computer system and I am

in the transition phase so the old one is on the floor in the den. Ha! I have

3 of my grands with me for the night. ,10;Christian 6;and Blair 18

months. Of course they are all asleep, including my husband. I'll get yelled

at for staying up so late if he wakes and comes and finds me on the computer.

His bark is worse than his bite. Anyway, back to the convention. I got my

packet today from Magic and it sounds like a great program. However, Blair

has IUGR,FTT, so where would we fit in? Of course I think it would be

wonderful for the chance to have the specialists take a look at her. I

couldn't really tell from the agenda when there would be time for such a

thing either. How many of you are planning to attend? I'm probably interested

for naught though cause I don't think I can get that Thursday and Friday off

from work! I mentioned it to my supervisor again today, but I won't say

anything else about it unless she does and comes up with a plan. I am one of

a small group of Home Health Nurses, and 2 others have already asked for the

same time off. But it sounds like great fun and a wonderful opportunity. So,

maybe something will work out. The Lord does work in mysterious ways! Of

course I've got to talk Blair's mom into making the trip. It wouldn't be of

much benefit if she were not there to see and hear all the information too.
