Just wanted to recommend a barber shop that we found for the boys--It's "Nascuts" (as in NAScar), the address is 8118 N. Univ., Tamarac, it on the east side of univ Just south of Southgate in the shopping plaza. The sign just says "barber".

I love the cuts, it's just $10 a head (compare to Cartoon cuts), it has a racing car theme, plus the owner and other cutters are very patient and nice and try to chat it up with the boys. I took there flailing twice--and both times he emerged with a mighty fine haircut.

They even have a cute & cozy little play area where one can play while the other gets a cut.

Just letting ya'll know!

FYI, I don't believe Lightning makes an appearance at this barber

shop, just so you know!

I know what you mean about the war. Being an OCTOPUS would sure

come in handy at a time like this. One arm for each of my son's

arms, one arm for each leg (to protect the barber), two arms to hold

his head straight, one arm to pick the hair out of my mouth (and my

son's mouth, eyes, and nostils), and one arm to hold the wet paper

towel that is used to wipe the hair off his tongue. Actually a

ninth arm would come in handy to protect the falling hair from

landing on the wet paper towel.

Now wait a minute. How DO we do this? Next time I'm taking a video

camera to document this feat. I know let's all take video cameras

and have a contest. The owner/barber there kept saying, " No I

swear, he's not my worst " . Probaby just making me feel good...

Afterall, Who WOULDN'T take " pity " on someone using a hairy wet

paper towel to wipe a hairy tongue in a screaming mouth with the

wiping being done T-Rex arm style because the arms and legs envelope

the child in a full-fajita body wrap, all while holding the child's

head still with lips and a thumb. (OHHHH. THAT'S how the hair gets

in my mouth..)
