Almond flour

My understanding is that all nuts should be soaked for at least eight hours and then dried to remove what makes them less digestible for us.  I began soaking and drying last year and I must say I don't have any heavy feelings in my gut after eating nuts like I used to.  I do large batches at a time and once they are dry I grind up whatever I need for flour in my blender (I keep them fresh in my freezer until I need them).  You can dry nuts in your regular oven at 150, no higher. Also, most 'raw' almonds have been steam pasteurized (try sprouting yours, if they don't sprout they aren't raw) due to a new law last year.  To get truly raw almonds you need to go direct to a grower or Farmer's Market.HTH,Sal
