Guest guest
Sue, One of my Rheumy's told me that I have osteoarthritis on the knee due to the RP and yes, knees are a major problem with RP. Lots of cartilage in that area for RP to destroy. Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery, but I'm sure it will greatly help. Sue, look in a search engine for RP and the knee. You need to educate your doctor about this ASAP. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi I just read your note and you mentioned that you have a problem with your knee, Do they feel that it is a result of this disease or something else. I just found out I have to have surgery on my left knee for a complex lateral meniscus tear and this surgeon knows absolutely nothing about RP. He is the knee specialist and the best one around but I wonder if possible the RP could have caused this problem. Do you know if anyone has ever mentioned knee problems with RP? Thanks Sue P
