Guest guest
Hi,I am beginning the 3rd week of SCD and I too am finding that I have no energy. I have found though that sleep is very important during this time and is what allows your body to heal. The nights when I can get at least 9 hours of sleep, I seem to have more energy throughout the day. Another tip is to constantly keep eating, literally every 2 hours! It's a pain to have to bring food everywhere, but I find that it helps. You have to learn to be patient with your body and give it the time it needs. It's hard when all your other activities do not really allow for the full rest that would be adequate, but take what you can get, even if it means saying " no " to some of you committments:) Good luck, I am hoping too to be able to regain my normal amount of energy at some point..hopefully sooner than later!naUC-July '07SCD 16 daysAsacol 1200mg 3x/day
Guest guest
I was very, very tired for the first month or two on the diet. As I added more foods/healed more (who knows which one!), I regained my energy (and then some!). The beginning months take a loooot of patience and faith. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who replied. It's helpful to know that the fatigue is not unusual. Having a better day today and hoping the trend continues. Jake CD 17 years SCD 03/17/2008 > > > > One more question. Guest guest
I can't offer any help, but I am so glad that it isn't just me. I started the diet on 3/5 and really just hope the fatigue goes away. I am so tired. I wasn't this tired when I had a colicky baby! lol Krista > > One more question.
