I've made kombucha tea (pre-SCD). You add sugar to strong tea, and then

add a kombucha culture, which is a flat pancake comprised of various

yeasts and bacteria.

I would not regard it as SCD legal because it contained many yeasts and

bacteria, and because it produces polysaccharides.

With regards to acorns, are you speaking of acorns-the-nut, aka, from an

oak tree?
