should i go intro and add back in for a flare?/ do they come every 3

months forever or just after the first???

I'd go back to your version of the intro. diet for a few days, until you feel your symptoms begin to disappear. Then add food back again.

I found I had to do this every few weeks during my first year on SCD, but everyone will have a different schedule.

Sometimes it turned out to be hidden additives that snuck in because I didn't check the fine print on my meat packages. So I always checked all my foods and supplements as I added things back into my menu after a symptom flare, just to make sure I wasn't still eating something my body wasn't ready for. Or wasn't eating something more often than it could handle.

The good thing is that the symptom flares become milder each time, don't last as long. Eventually they stop (unless you have functional disorders like I do.)

thanks i'm so limited that i had found some hidden way in the

beginning but I keep it so limited and lame I really don't think

anything's in but i bet the broth every few weeks helps so back to

intro we go :-)
