Guest guest
Put it in the upper rack of your dishwasher. Ron But I have no idea how to sterilize the plastic Yogourmet inner container. I'd appreciate input from other people who use this machine.

I'm glad to know that the plastic won't melt if I pour boiling water into it, then dump it right out again before use. From both your replies, I gather that once I have run the container through the dishwasher (on the upper rack), the insides are sterile and will stay so until I need to make the yogurt. My dishwasher has lots of options, including " sani-rinse " which is meant to sterilize the items being washed. I was not sure that this was sufficient sterilization, but both of you think so. I'm relieved that the answer to my problem is so simple. Thanks again. Ellen in Toronto SCD March 17, 2008
