Guest guest
: I agree with you too. I think we all have to be positive and optimistic about new developments in the coming years. I agree with , not only will Dr. Nase's book answer most of the questions that we've been asking, it will point researchers/physicians in the right directions and spawn a huge amount of new, worthwhile research on rosacea based upon what he has discovered himself. Just because dermatologists don't have all the answers today doesn't mean the answers to our problems aren't out there in other fields of medicine - this is what I believe Dr. Nase has been finding. Just my thoughts. --- Reid on rosacea-support, skin@...

Hi and everyone, I looked at the web page for Dr. Nase that someone posted - he has had amazing results, and I'd really like to know what he did to heal his rosacea, but it doesn't say on his web page. I'm new here, and I'm sorry if this is covering old ground for most of you, but would appreciate any input. Does Dr. Nase post to this board? Can someone summarize for me (and other newcomers) what his work is about, and his book? What has he been finding in other areas of medicine that pertains to rosacea? I am very interested in this, because I *know* this rosacea didn't just come out of nowhere --- there has to be a reason(s) for it. Yet my dermatologist made it seem like there was no point in even thinking about the underlying cause(s) -- just handed me a prescription for Metrocream and that was it. I know if I could figure out what caused my rosacea, I could treat it much more effectively, and probably the same applies for each of us. Thank you for any replies! Guest guest
There is progress. My derm told me about a laser treatment now being developed that won't bruise at all, you can go to work the next day. It is not available yet, but maybe soon. Maybe all the development is focused on laser treatment because that's where the big bucks are! Re: Topical Steroid Therapy -Reply Look at the progress with technology over the past decade.. it's really insane if you think about it. Look at how much we've progressive in the technological field. Look at the photoderm.. look at the work Dr. Nase is doing. For years the options were metrogel and antibiotics. Now we have photoderm, we have the proper oils, we have rosacea-ltd... progress is being made, so if you don't have optomism, what do we have? This attitude stinks and I'll have no part of it.
