Kyodophilus is my favorite brand of acidophilus capsules. They don't need

refrigeration and they are easily to carry around in a pill box so you can

take them with meals.

Hi ,

I had previously done some reading on Candida and it does raise a little

fear!

<< It seems like many people in the group are antibiotic users, and most

people know the importance of restoring the good bacteria in their system

which is killed off by wide spectrum antibiotics like minocycline and

tetracycline.

I was alternating between those two antibiotics steadily for nearly four

years and did not bother with any probiotic regimes to replace what I was

destroying. Not a smart move, I know. Well I recently started reading

about things like Candida and was completely shocked at the wide variety of

symptoms including anxiety, mood swings, skin rashes, food

intolerance/allergies, muscle/joint pain and immune system disorders. The

list is quite long. When I read more about it and saw that I had many of

those symptoms (and I've had them for a long time) I decided to do something

about it.

Almost all the symptoms are gone now after working with a nutritionist who

had me on a very strict diet change and taking a lot of Caprylic Acid, Pau

D'Arco and Garlic. And of course restoring the good bacteria with a product

like Kyo-Dophilus (there are many others).

I'm certainly not suggesting people should stop using antibiotics. They

obviously play an important role for us in controlling cea and Acne. But

I'm going to try not taking them constantly. And we shouldn't overlook the

importance of balancing our systems with a probiotic regime. Seems like I

found this out the hard way.

There is a ton of information about this on the Internet, just do a search

on Candida and Antibiotics. You will be amazed.
