Hi Margaret,

I just had more Photoderm done Monday. I havent had broad

areas done yet. Up until this point he has been spot testing to see what the

best setting is for my skin and which one fades the veins and redness without

alot of swelling and bruising. This derm is extremely cautious, which I like,

but I want him to do the entire nose and cheek area next. I go in 2 weeks for

more.

So far the veins that he has treated have faded and some

are gone. Some red areas are gone too. Ive been through the purple spots,

swelling , and redness from the Photoderm, but nothing too bad.I find that

putting zinc oxide on those areas helps heal them rather quickly. I find

that when a vein or area turns purple that it is a sign that the vein is

killed off and doesnt return and therefore the area remains lighter. I think

that this is going to be an on going process for a few more months......

I am going to talk with my plastic surgeon soon and maybe

have him do a few spots with the Pulse Dye just to compare which procedure

eliminates the veins and redness the best. Since I cant go out and enjoy the

sun I figure that I'll spend my free time this summer having cosmetic

procedures done!

It sounds like the Photoderm is working well for you.

Thats great. Good luck with the other treatments.

Bill

Hi Rob,

Yes, my skin is still much lighter! I had a third treatment 2 weeks

ago. The results were good, but not as dramatic as the 2nd treatment. As

for the dilated blood vessels they appear to be much lighter, but most of

them have not completely gone away. I still wear makeup to cover the

remaining redness. I have also noticed that I do not flush as much and when

I do it is not as noticeable as it once was. I plan to have 2 more

treatments. I want to get rid of as much as possible.

Thanks,

Margaret H

To those that are having Photoderm treatments: How is it going?

Noticing any more improvement?

Hi Margaret and Bill,

I just had another photoderm treatment on Tuesday. I have a lot of damage

to

fix, and will need several more treatments over the next few months, but

the vessels are noticeably fading each time and I am satisfied with the

results so far.

I don't get any bruising after the treatments - just a lot of extra

swelling, and the veins often turn that kind of purply color before they

fade. My nose, especially,

seems a bit lighter today and I hope it stays that way! Best of luck with

your

next treatments,

Jen

I nearly forgot - for those of us with the bright red ears, myself included,

I asked if they could be " photodermed " but just like Dr. Sy said, they

told me that they would be very awkward to treat and may not be.

successful. With all of this modern technology, surely there is something

we could do for our ears?!!

Robin, I travel to CA, thanks to my husband's frequent flyer mileage.

Dr. Bitter invented this sytem. I know he is training other doctors.

Send him an e-mail to see if he is working with anyone in your area.

If not, you may want to convince your dermatolgist to go for the

training. Just a suggestion. I know he is doing really well with this

business. Fran

Hello Bob,

Yes I have had extensive photoderm Treatments. My entire face...every square

inch of it. My neck is not involved. Read my eariler post of my progress.

My doc never told me I couldn't be treated on all areas and yes I have had

very good improvement.
