what is the difference between " grass fed " and " pasture fed " ?

do the animals actually graze grass outside at some point??

i saw organic valley has a limited edition butter that is " pasture

fed " i asked the dairy dept at whole foods what this means and no one

could answer me.

lately, i learned that there are different meanings for labeling when

it comes to eggs ie, " cage free " " vegetarian feed " " roaming " " free

range " " free roaming " ohh my goodness..

i need to move to the country and get some hens, cows, goats and just

do my own thing..

these labels are so misleading that it is depressing!!

i learned today that although meat in whole foods is supposed to be

%100 antibiotic, hormone, steroid free they reserve the right to treat

the animals with these drugs when needed. i somehow can understand

that. at least they aren't " pre-treating " with these drugs. as many

famrs do. but still, we pay so much money and these terminologies and

double speak make me think " what am i buying and what am i paying a

premium price for " ???

i also learned that many 3rd world countries that raise fish don't

need to adhere to US and EU laws and therefor the fish is cheaper!!

some countries like china actually grow the fish in pools with sewage

water and then that actual water is treated with antibiotics!!!

how am i going to get healthy if i buy food that is like poison?
