Guest guest
Okay, so our families that are seeing unprecidented cuts in services and funding are supposed to sit back while the state spends 1/2% of all construction budgets on beautification. I would be fine driving down I-95 and not seeing thousands of palm trees if it meant that my daughter and other like her would have appropriate funding. How does Governor Crist and the legislature continue to say we don't have the money for services to persons with developmenttal disabilities when we are spending millions on trees and plants? I would say that this is part of the $16 billion in non-essential spending, wouldn't you? Oh, I am sorry, pretty landscaping is way more important than the most vulnerable of our society getting proper care. I am sorry, but hasn't anyone besides me had enough? See the link below and then you decide where the money should be spent. http://www.wsvn.com/features/articles/carmelcase/MI102315 Regards, Ven Sequenzia, Jr. PresidentAutism Society of AmericaState of Florida ChapterPlan your next getaway with AOL Travel. Guest guest
I noticed it also. They look pretty, but what about our children and adults that are loosing services? What happened to the agreement with the Seminole Indians? They were given permission to have Las Vegas slot machines and card tables for a large amount of revenue to be given to the State? I know they have the card tables, because I know people that go there to play. This was a good idea that Governor Christ came up with. If anyone knows, let me know. I might have to call the Governors office, but I have to wait after the election, he is too busy campaigning. Eileen RothPlan your next getaway with AOL Travel. Check out Today's Hot 5 Travel Deals!
