Guest guest
Hello, I know I've seen posts asking about enzymes -- sorry if I'm repeating what has been discussed here recently. I've had a hard time keeping up with the posts on the 2 lists lately -- this one & pecanbread. My teenager w. UC makes occasional little mistakes in his diet -- mostly when I'm not around -- and I'm sure he wouldn't think to take an enzyme before the mistakened food. They are mainly SCD foods, just ones I think he's probably not ready for -- or it's questionable restaurant foods. So my questions are: 1. If he only takes an enzyme with breakfast & dinner, would they still help any infractions made at other times of the day? 2. If I broke open an enzyme capsule in the morning and mixed it in with the yogurt that he would take to school for lunch, would it still be effective? (Schools frown on any pill-popping at lunch...) 3.What seems to be the consensus for the most effective multi-spectrum enzyme -- one that a 13 yo boy w. UC could tolerate well? I was looking at the Kirkland & Houston ones as per pecanbread, but wasn't sure which would be best. Thanks. I appreciate you all so much! 13 yo w.
