I would like to compare notes if that is ok with you. Thank you, Marie Subject: Re: What is the difference between High Functioning Autism and Asperger's Syndrome???To: sList Date: Sunday, November 30, 2008, 6:43 PM Children diagnosed with Asperger's do not demonstrate delays in language acquistion. Their language progressed typically, whereas, those diagnosed with autism, language did not progress as expected. What is the difference between High Functioning Autism and Asperger's Syndrome??? My son was recently diagnosed this year with Asperger's Syndrome. He is 11 years old. But I was curious what the difference between HF Autism and AS is? Not really sure what the differences are since they sound so similar. Thanks for the help, Lissette
