Guest guest
Hi Everyone! My name is Samariya, and I am obviously new to this site. I have not had WLS yet, but I am waiting, and I thought that this would be a good place to get my questions answered about pregnancy after WLS. I was reading the posts from the past couple of days, and I read about the castor oil.... My mother went into ACTIVE LABOR with me on June 3,1975, and she didn't have me until June 24th. The doctors induced labor five times, but I didn't want to come out! I now understand why! :-) It wasn't until my father's mother told my mother to take some castor oil, was I born. I guess she over did it by warming it up and pouring a bottle of it in a quart of O.J., but she was desparate!!! She was tired of eating 8lbs. of ice per day for 21 days! Needless to say the maternity ward gave me a birthday party when I was born! Thanks to good ol' CASTOR oil! I guess the only downfall to my mom drinking the yucky stuff was that the janitor had to follow behind her with a mop everywhere she went! :-)))) Well anyway, I look forward to reading these posts, and learning about WLS and Pregnancy! Toodles! Samariya aka Sam I Am
