My DAN! Dr had us run initial blood tests, as expected. And we did it at an in-network lab. But one specific test is coming back saying they need "a more specific procedure code" or medical documentation.

Well, I truly don't know WHY he ran this test, but that's beside the point now. I just want to get it PAID for.

It's listed as "Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha", and labcorp wants $256.00 for running the test.

Might anyone here have experience in this area that might give me some idea as to what "code" United Healthcare might accept for this? I'd call my doc, but it's Saturday, and I really am hoping to get this taken care of ASAP.

Oh -- in case you need it, my son is 2 and dx ASD.

Thank you!!!

Best,
