I guess the next step would be to decide since it is a made up word if it

is one or two words? Does the doctor pause? Fun in our field of mystery

and growth.

Unfortunately I have not been involved in this thread from the beginning, and if

this is not the issue then never mind, but plasty can be used as a stand-alone

word for a repair procedure.

Aliceanne, I like the way you have tried to think this through and the way you

have worded everything. I totally agree with you that I think it is nail plasty

and that it is a made up word. The only thing close to neoplasty would be

neoplastic, which means pertaining to neoplasm, which of course is a condition

rather than a procedure. Hope it makes sense to a, Margaret

Dear Eileen,

It is time for aggressive action from the grassroots level. President-Elect

Obama and the Transition team need to hear from ASA and our community in a VERY

BIG way!

Please visit the Change.gov health care page

(http://www.autism-society.org/site/R?i=g94PbkEN_BLNMfnRa8TOgA.. ) and advance

the agenda to support individuals with autism and their families. Here, there's

a button where you can submit your ideas for change. The more people write in to

tell the new administration their autism concerns, the bigger chance we have of

improving the lives of all affected by autism.
