Guest guest Posted October 16, 2000 Report Share Posted October 16, 2000 Steve and everybody: Shiela made a very good point when we were talking: if a doctor uses 43846 (which is the RNY code, I think) instead of 43847, then when the surgery notes are reviewed it can be disallowed and nothing, including follow-up and correcting any problems, will be covered.
