Gas and burping poll was--just a chat

Actually I have been wanting to post a question about gas myself.--Elly has

gas pretty bad as well and nothing I am eating--or not seems to change the

outcome. I ended up taking her to the Emeg. Room this past Friday night--as

she hadden't nirsed all day and --likewise didn't pee or poop. They ran a

bunch of tests--all horrible stuff. I thought for sure something major was

wrong--causing her not to eat--WRONG--she just had really bad gas. They

could see it in her lower belly. So I got home (was there from 8:40pm till

12:30---ugg--and dh was out of town defending his thesis--uggg--ugg) I went

to bed and she finally nursed--lightly. I had two bowling balls attatched

to my front--drippy ones. I wanted to post a question to the other moms

about weather or not they burp their kids in the middle of the night after

each feeding. I am usually half asleep so I don't--this is the only thing a

can come up with. Any help--Joy
