Service dog question

, great attitude! You are my kind of person, I can relate to you

so much. Now, were you and your service dog trained together or

seperately? Was the dog a 'bonafide' service dog or just a pet before

hand. I have 2 dogs, 1 in particular, rescued from a dumpster and had

five homes before I adopted her. She is a miracle. Very attentive and

protective, and without training, gets me stuff like I say 'Lillie, go

get my sweatshirt' - off she goes to the bedroom chair, comes back with

the sweatshirt. At first I thought this was a fluke and couldn't believe

it. So I tried that 'go get _________' and at different times, etc, and

she gets my stuff. I want to work more with her and actually train her

for stuff, she is only 4, and prone to shredding my newspaper before I

get it out of her mouth (doesn't 'hear' 'drop' on that command) Please

tell me more about your service dog and what the dog does. Lillie is

part shepherd, part everything else. She is very strong at 52 lbs.

When you wrote about your garden and independence, I felt my head

nodding up and down YES!

Working past and through my CMT is the story of my life. I blow people

away at airports, I need transport to the gate, that is usually in a WC.

Then I get out and walk. But I do what I to do to make myself

comfortable and happy. You are SO right. We are DEFINITELY MORE than our

CMT! Thank you SO much for sharing your authenticity and lifestyle!
