Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's very early (here in Missouri). Just woke up from a sound sleep and had the weirdest thing happen. I have e-mailed the group before concerning swallowing problems, but this is different. This has happened before, just not quite like this. I didn't prop myself up properly last night when I went to bed and when I woke up I felt like almost gagging. The little flap thing (sorry I don't know what it's called) that hangs down in your throat felt like it was stretched and wanted to go down my throat. And, when I swallow, if feels like my throat is swollen. Has anyone had an experience like this before? I have a doctor's appointment with my d.o. this morning (high blood pressure it back), but wanted to chat with you all about it first. I took a 1/2 teaspoon of benadryl, but it hasn't done anything yet. If any of you have had this problem, or if you know how to get rid of this, please let me know.
