Hi Bruce,

I went to ER this morning as promised, before I left home I circled the area with a blue pain exactly were the pain is. ER dr said "the muscles inside are starting to bruise up, even though there's no visible bruising showing up and gave me a prescription of Tylenol#3.

He gave me a note for work that I was unable to work today, I went to work anyways....I was an hour late! I know I know (lol)

He also said to call my primary because I may need physiotherapy, because today for the first time, I heard crackling sounds like something was rubbing against the bone. No X-Rays were taken....I will call my Sports Medecine dr tommorrow for an appointment for next week.

Tommorrow and Friday I'm so booked up in the morning and I have to get things in order.

I will have something to eat and get my butt to bed!

Intraocular is referring to the lens they use to replace your lens

during cataract surgery. Now, I don't know about yours since it

sounds quite mild.

Intraocular lenses, commonly called IOLs, may be one of the most

important ophthalmic developments in the past 30 years. These tiny

prescription lenses are placed inside the eye during cataract or

Clear Lens Extraction And Replacement surgery (CLEAR), replacing the

eye's natural lens (called a cataract when it becomes clouded).

Prior to the development of IOLs, cataract patients were forced to

wear thick "coke bottle" glasses or contact lenses after the surgery.

Now what has happened over the years is they've gotten better and

better. So cataract surgery was no longer just remove the cataract

but you come out seeing better than in years. So, this procedure is

even being extended to those with healthy eyes. Now also they have

gotten the science down to making corrections in your vision. Again,

since yours is minor and one eye, I don't know how much this impacts

you. What I do know is that cataract surgery when my father had it

left you wearing coke bottle glasses and no peripheral vision and

couldn't take lights and didn't see well. Now, the recovery is quick

and you're shocked because you didn't realize you were really seeing

as poorly as you were. My ex-mother in law just had hers. Scared she

did one eye and was frightened by it. Within two days she was wanting

to know how soon she could have the other one done. I can't remember

but there was something on TV she noticed that she'd never seen

before and it was "I didn't know that".
