Dear Friends Across the Country,

A few weeks ago I sent you all an e-mail regarding the Obama Administration looking for people with disabilities to apply to become part of the new Obama Administration.

The last e-mail I sent you had a deadline, BUT THERE IS REALLY NOT AN ABSOLUTE DEADLINE YET! However, the sooner you apply the better!

This is an AWESOME opportunity for the disability community! This can be a wonderful way to increase the voice of the disability community at the federal level.

If YOU, or someone you KNOW, is interested in employment in the Obama administration, PLEASE go to this website and APPLY!

To APPLY go to: www.change.gov. At the top of the screen click on Jobs and it will drop down and you then select Apply Now. This will take you to a page telling you how to apply for jobs in the Obama Administration, and a form you can fill out to indicate your initial interest. Within a few days, you will receive an email with a link to a more complete on-line application.

In addition to your resume, you will need to know which job(s) you are interested in. To look at all the jobs available in the new administration, you need to go to the Plum Book website and look through the positions. The website is http://www.gpoaccess.gov/plumbook/2008/index.html.

YES, THIS WILL MOST LIKELY MEAN YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-LOCATE TO WASHINGTON, DC if you are selected for a position!!!
