Sandie - Exercise IS GOOD too!

Even though it's a Red Herring ..he's right in that Exercise is the one thing you can gift yourself with to feel better regardless of what IS wrong!

I'm so much stronger & my breathing has improved since I did my Pulmonary Rehab - I especially find my walking in the heated pool modified swimming incredible helpful. Because my nody is supported in the water I have much better range of movement & can do all sorts of joint-mobilising exercise (mostly old ballet stuff but underwater) . The beauty of simply walking up & down in water is well known for its efficiency due to the action of pushing against the water but not actually FEELING like you are doing anything too strenuous. Resistance training of your leg muscles is what's happening.

Here in Lismore the Sports Coaches use that method with their Club Water Polo team. If its good enough for them its sure good enough for me!

Because I want to strengthen my arm muscles too I've added in a modified Breaststroke action that works really well. Oh & a girlfriend comes with me & we chat as we go up & down....can't do better than that!

Can't manage Yoga..love the swimming pool!

Gosh it's so HARD isn't it...my GP thought I was in early heart failure too & said exactly the same thing "You're a bit young for this"...it was the Heart Specialist who picked the PF....go to ANYONE they send you to.... you can never tell which Medico will be the one who finally clicks as to WHAT it is!

Even when they don't say it, I'm sure they make you feel it. I often

was made to feel like everything I felt was just a normal part of

aging, and some was, but I know when some things just aren't right.
