I'm back - more on potty's and poos!!

Hi everyone, we got back from 2 weeks of sunshine in Pembrokeshire last

night. Emma had a fantastic time on the beach - couldn't get enough of rock

pools and sandcastles. We went with my parents so Emma has had 2 weeks of

being spoiled for attention and since we got back has been a complete

horror.

We decided to put a nappy on her for the journey there but she wore pants on

the way back yesterday and was fine (more or less). She's been really good

with doing wees in the potty but we're having trouble with poos! She got

constipated and so then it hurt and now she tries not to do poos at all in

nappy or potty. She jumps about asking for hugs and holding her bottom until

the feeling goes away and then eventually after doing this all day she can't

stop it and she gets upset because she does it in her pants. This has now

been going on for 2 weeks and I don't know what to say to convince her to

just go when she first needs to - she's still scared it will hurt and I

don't want this to develop into any more of a complex.

Anyway, have I missed anything important in the last two weeks?
