Theresa, thank you for the link to the article. Very interesting. Does anyone on the list know an audiologist who is experienced in screening for and treating this specific deficit in kids with auditory processing difficulties? Any leads would be appreciated. Lucille

Leah Light is very good but does not take insurance.

FYI- check out http://www.fldoe.org/ese/pdf/y2001-9.pdf which is the

Florida Dept. of Education technical paper on auditory processing.

It is their own guidelines on what they should be doing for kids with

auditory processing in public school settings as well as symptoms and

therapy for APD.
