Guest guest
Thanks S. Sunsets are breath-taking aren't they. When we are at the coast I watch for those 60 second splatterings across the sky! Mama-Sher, 69; IPF, 3-06, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Hi all - an imaginary visual gift for you I need to share my sunset with you. I was driving home towards Lubbock today after working south of here off the Caprock. I left the big city of Post about 5:40 today just about the time the sun started down. Now you need to understand West Texas is flat. I mean really flat and there are no trees except for mesquite so there is absolutely nothing to impede the sight of the setting sun. There was a front coming in so there were scattered clouds and the sun was just behind the cloud with big pink-orange rays going everywhere out of the cloud. It was the most amazing sunset, almost like God's way of spreading a peaceful Icy-Hot on the world. The Caprock was bathed in the most amazing light. It only lasted a minute but it sure made me wish I could paint. Instead I put that sunset in the secret place in my heart and laid it aside to share with you all.Enjoy.
