Guest guest
Hi!, My name is Fran Copp and I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and I worked for 4 years with children who had developmentaly delays including feeding problems. I joined the list to be available to parents who have general questions re self-feeding and activities of daily Living (ADL's). I also market a food called Nutri-Rice Solubles. I have introduced this food on the GT List for children and adults who are using a GT for nutritional intake. Children have had phenominal results and I am so excited about this food! Children who want to avoid getting a GT yet need to gain weight are taking this food as well. One child gained 3 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. If you would like more info please visit our website at hppt://www.nutri-rice.com or email me at fcopp@.... I think this food has a lot of potential for RSS children because it is 26% fat, low in saturated fat, yet high in the essential fatty acids Omega 3 & 6, including Vitamin E. It has over 70 different antioxidants, including gamma oryzanol and lipoic acid which build lean body mass (muscle!). It is a complex carbohydrate, basically the rice bran and rice germ with most of the insoluble fiber removed. It stabilizes blood sugar and also has been recommended for children with learning problems, such as ADD/ADHD, because of the excellent nutrition it provides. See ADD, What Every Parent Should Know, by Lynne C. Ruegamer, ED.D, Bill R. Wagonseller, EdD., Morton A. Roitman, M.D., LeMarr, Ph.D., Or, A Teacher's Fix it Yourself ADHD Manual by Jo Anne Cristoph, MA, Bill R. Wagonseller, EdD., Norton A. Roitman, M.D., LeMarr, Ph.D. It can easily be added to yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat, sweet potaotes, formula, fruit juices, cottage cheese, ice cream, soup, etc. My family and I have been eating it for 2 years and we have not been sick. If you have read this much and are interested in trying this food, the first three people who email me and request a free jar will receive a free container of Nutri-Rice, valued at $29.95. I sell it to individuals on the GT list or this list for $20., and at wholesale for a case of 6 at $90. Hope to hear from you all! ----Fran Copp
