Guest guest
I also forgot about the question about checkups. I am sure that each Dr. will have their own time frame for each child but in general Dr. Ponseti told me that for the first couple of years that checkups would be about every 3-4 months and then go to once per year. Also, I do think that we all need to remember that there are and will continue to be children that will use the Ponseti method and will need to have the ankle ligament and joint surgery. In addition, we need to remember that there will also be other children who will have relapses and may need the anterior tibial tendon transfer after 2 years. We hope that all of those parents and children will also have the support and welcome here with our group.
