Older daughter graduated from Northland College in Ashland,

Wisconsin. It is a " Liberal Arts " college and all that that

entails. It was like being back in the early 70's when we went for

her graduation. Some of the newest generation of hippy girls were

wearing vintage skirts made from old ties - remember those? - and

walking around barefooted, smoking rolled cigarettes, not wearing

bras or deodorant because it isn't natural.

It was definitely a moment in time.
