For the original person who posted this question –

Not everyone believes in the efficacy of NAET. Some of us

believe NAET is synonymous with voodoo.

But with this being said, it is a fact that NO INTERVENTION

works for all our ASD kids, no not ABA nor the GFCF diet nor any of the supplements.

You have to find what works for YOUR child, and while other folks’

opinions and experiences may be helpful there is no assurance that their experience

will be your own. Do your research, then try to introduce one new thing

at a time. If you try several new things at once, it will be difficult to

judge what’s working and what’s a waste of time.

Of everything we did, I would have to say the most important for

my son was ABA, and yes Noah screamed and fought it at the beginning, but the

skills he acquired through discrete trials were the building blocks for more

advanced learning, e.g., learning to sit quietly and not run around the room (no

I don’t believe that’s necessarily the school’s job),

learning strategies to communicate, etc. What’s really interesting

is that recently one of his favorite activities is watching the home videos of

his ABA sessions from many years ago.

Naet Therapy

Yes, it's a very good way to desensitize the allergies and

supplements. However, it can become costly so it's good to get a practitioner

who can submit to insurance. Dr. Sontag in Miami and Dr. Drucker

in Boca Raton both take insurance.
