Guest guest
Hi~ My advice is follow your heart, you have to make decisions that you can live with. I can honestly say that I am at a point where I do not believe in vaccinations. It has taken me a long time to get here, but the thought that I may hurt my daughter by giving her something, well I can't live with that. I did give her shots at 2 months, but nothing else ever since. I suggest to do as much research as possible, look at all sides and make an informed decision. Good Luck, Tara Subject: Vaccinating Child that had all shots to 18 monthsTo: sList Date: Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 12:42 PM My daughter was healthy child, hitting all milestones until 18 months shots. Regressed afterward. I see alot of Vaccination recommendations to separate and do one at a time. Now that the damage has been done, I am looking for advice how to proceed with upcoming shots or do I not ever vaccinate her again. Does anyone have any advice for me? Guest guest
I am not debating either way, I just have something to chew on - none of my children have had a single vaccination. Indeed, they have had zero injections of any kind. My middle some is HFA. Who knows if he would be worse if he had had any vaccines. I sure don't know. My best, under-educated guess is that it's a combo of genes & environment, and there certainly is a ton of " environment " in vaccines, so I am happy with what was right for us. Sheesh, I can't find anyone with chicken pox to expose my kids to - I wish I could! Much safer than that vaccine in my opinion, which may be, and probably is, different than my neighbors. So at the end of the day, if is only your decision, and you have to do what you feel is best. I trust that if my kids contract something that is " vaccine preventable " that if I am honest with whoever is treating them, that whatever it is can be treated if it isn't something I can treat at home. That's my comfort level. You (collective you, not individual you) need to decide that on your own and proceed from there.
Guest guest
Actually, much to my disbelief, South Florida Parenting Magazine, in its October issue, on pages 16 & 17 is an article--a real live valid article in a non-autism local parenting publication--about the alternative vaccine schedule. Very interesting. It lists the Dr. Sears recommended schedule. Most helpful information is that THE PILLBOX in Weston is a place where one can obtain a measles-only vaccination. This article MAY or may not be viewable on www.sfparenting.com > > My daughter was healthy child, hitting all milestones until 18 months > shots. Regressed afterward.
