Hi,

As some of you may know, I am putting together a local resource

guide for the West areas on Palm Beach. This includes West Palm

Beach, Royal Palm, Wellington, and surrounding areas.

I am putting it together for a local support group, and

our local fire and rescue, and eventually to the public. I was very

surprized to learn that my local area did not have much info to give

out to families like mine. So.. I am slowly building up this book. I

am combining info from 211, FAU CARD, The ARC, CILO. etc. Basically

putting together a guide where all resources of all kinds can be

found in one guide.

Not an easy task...but so far it is proving to be very

helpful to some fmailies I have spoken with.

If you are a provider (speech, OT, Pt, Gyms, rec. activity

center. Doctor, nurse, social worker, support groups, Family therapy

for parents with children with autism, respite care, swim , Hippo

therapy, dog therapy,centers,camps, schools,etc.

Please forward me you info for this much needed guide. I

would like to have this out in the next few months.

* I am also looking to help families who only speak

Spanish, as there are many in this area that can not find therapist

to translate.

* thank you for all your time, and for those that have

already sent me your info.

***I believe we all need to share our knowledge to learn , grow, and

help educate all our children and their families suffering from

autism. I wish something like this was avaliable to me when I first

learned of my child's autism...don't you?

Thank you in advance,

Skys Mom
