Guest guest
Hi, I agree with Jacqui, there was a huge survey conducted in Denmark involving 500,000 babies. The surevey did not in any way indicate that MMR is related to autism. The new vaccine that our children receive does not have thimoserol. I suggest giving the vaccine one at a time. Lizzie. I do believe that we must vaccinate our children. If your child has a real medical issue associated with them having a vaccination, then that is a different story.......My child, who thankfully HAD been vaccinated(otherwis e he would have had a much worse case), recently came down with Pertussis. For weeks I watched my son struggle to breathe, turn blue and vomit uncontrollably. The department of health in our county got involved and everyone in our family had to be treated, the schools had to be notified, as well as anyone we had contact with in the weeks prior to the diagnosis. All children who were NOT vaccinated were immediately removed from the schools that my children attended, for a period of 21 days.Ultimately it is your decision, but there is a ripple effect here that needs to be considered. Guest guest
in this case it could be 1 in 10,000 or more but now in our cases with autism and other things its 1-150 or below so what would you choose..educate before you vaccinate.... www.trackingvaccinations.com if you want to vaccinate wait until they are older and stronger to deal with all the posion they put into our families.... Guest guest
Jacqui, You will definitely not be “booted off the list,” LOL, as a matter of fact I agree with you about not throwing out the baby with the bathwater as far as vaccines are concerned. This has always been my fear, that so many of our children are not being vaccinated that some of these diseases that have been almost eradicated will be making a comeback. I vividly remember my sister having whooping cough (pertussis) in those days before the vaccine and as you describe below, it was not a pretty sight, if it’s stayed with me for forty years. On the other hand, I also agree with Ellen about educating yourself before you vaccinate. I believe in being vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella, but not all at the same time. And any vaccinations that can be safely put off until the child is older and stronger, in agreement with your pediatrician, should be.
